UST Enters PCCL Final 4 After Beating Adamson: Go UsTe!

UST is the 4th team to qualify in the PCCL Final 4 after they beat the Adamson Falcons via 88-64.

The Adamson Falcons, a team that’s on a 7 game winning streak in the PCCL, looked exhausted in this game. They failed to maintain their intensity in the 2nd half giving UST a chance to increase their lead to 13 points, 58-45 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

UST’s Aljon Mariano took over the game at the start of the 3rd quarter. He scored 12 of his 20 points in the 3rd Period. He was just unstoppable.

Since then, UST never looked back to the Adamson Falcons up to the Final Buzzer.

The best player for UST was Aljon Mariano. He topped all the scorers in this game with 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists.

The PCCL Final 4 Teams have already been settled. Ateneo (UAAP Champion), San Beda (NCAA Champion), SWU (CESAFI Champion) and just recently UST, are the teams who will compete for the right to be hailed as the one and only true National Champion!

The Final 4 single round robin action will start on November 25, Sunday. UST will go against the SWU Cobras at 2PM and then at 4PM Ateneo will face San Beda. All the games will be aired live on Studio 23.
