LA Clippers Beat Miami Heat: Jamal Crawford Delivers Big Time!

Jamal Crawford led the Los Angeles Clippers in a big win earlier today against the Miami Heat. 107-100 was the final score.

Crawford has been a journeyman in the NBA, but this time around, it seems that he has found a permanent home. He seems to be the long lost missing piece in the Clippers' Championship Puzzle and his terrific performance for the Clippers this Season will prove that.

In this game, Crawford came off the bench to boost the scoring of the Clippers. He delivered big time in this game.

The game was close right from the first quarter up to the 2nd quarter. In fact, the score at halftime was 54-52 in favor of Miami.

The complexion of the game changed when Crawford started to hit his shots in the 2nd half. He helped Chris Paul and Blake Griffin pile up the points in the 3rd quarter. By virtue of that big 3rd quarter scoring output, the Clippers were able to get a comfortable 11 point lead at the end of the 3rd period, 85-74.

Crawford and Bledsoe continued to score heavily for the Clippers in the 4th quarter. The score became 93-76 with a little over 5 minutes left in the 4th. Since then they never looked back to the Heat en route to this big win.

Crawford finished the game with 22 big points. Chris Paul and Blake Griffin added 16 and 20 points respectively.

LeBron and Wade meanwhile had 30 and 6 points respectively. Wade played thru a sprained left foot. That’s probably the reason behind his dismal performance in this game.

The Clippers are now 3rd in the West with a very impressive 6-2 win-loss record. Miami on the other hand, is also 3rd in the East by virtue of their 6-3 win-loss record.

“Sustained energy carried us through this game and also, most of the time when your teammates get you in the right positions, you become effective,” said Crawford after their big win against Miami.
