The Southwestern University (SWU) Cobras are the CESAFI (Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc.) 2012 Champions.

SWU won their best of 5 Finals series against the UV Green Lancers, 3-2. SWU took game 1. UV won games 2 and 3. SWU came back and won games 4 and 5.

The Final score of game 5 was 73-72 in favor of SWU.

Game 5 went down the wire. Actually, UV had a big lead in the last 4 mins. of the 4th Quarter but SWU came back. SWU managed to tie the game at 72 all with less than 1 minute remaining.

SWU managed to win by 1 point, 73-72 courtesy of Monbert Arong. He made 1 out of his 2 free throws to seal the win for SWU.

Just like in the previous games, Ben Mbala, the number 7 guy in the picture above was the one who scored heavily for SWU.

Congratulations SWU and see you in the PCCL!
