UE Red Warriors Defeated Ateneo Blue Eagles In UAAP 75 2ND Round: Chris Javier To The Rescue!

    Breaking News...

The UE Red Warriors made the UE Community proud after they upset the league leading ADMU Blue Eagles to the tune of 79-77.

The Red Warriors spoil the career night of Greg Slaughter who had a double-double 24 points and 15 rebounds. UE's Gene Belleza, Roi Sumang, and Chris Javier teamed up to help UE upset ADMU.

Roi Sumang was in his usual self in this game. His teardrop shots were all good and his spin moves baffled the defense of Ateneo. It seems that no one can stop him as he scored 15 points in this game.

Belleza on the other hand made plenty of three pointers and several impressive drives to the basket. I didn't expect that he has great basketball handles. He is a revelation for UE. He had a total of 28 points in this game. He has finally blossomed into a fine guard for the Red Warriors.

Chris Javier meanwhile made his 2nd game winning shot in UAAP Season 75. He is definitely a cold blooded player who can thrive during crucial moments. All in all he also had 15 points in this game.

UE goes up in the team standing with 3-8 win-loss record while Ateneo remains on top with 9 wins and only 2 losses including this one against UE.
