JP Erram Suffers ACL Tear, Out For The Rest of The UAAP Season 75

The Ateneo De Manila Blue Eagles are on top of the UAAP Season 75 Men's Basketball Team Standings at 10-2 and they have had looked very steady in their drive for Five, until one afternoon, during their game against the Adamson Falcons their secondary Center, JP Erram fell on the floor. He was grimacing in pain while holding his knee. At first, I thought that it was just a minor injury, but I was wrong.

Apparently, according to the official Twitter Account of the UAAP Season 75, JP suffered an ACL Tear injury. He needs to undergo a knee surgery and he will be sidelined for atleast 6 months.

JP is a very efficient big man for the Ateneo. In fact he is one of the leading shot makers in the UAAP Season 75. In the 10 games that he played for the Blue Eagles, he made 14 out of 22 shots. That's roughly 64 percent field goal shooting. He is at the top when it comes to field goal percentage.

Ateneo's big man rotation will be affected with the loss of JP. Their other big men such as Chua and Golia need to step up to fill in the void that was left by JP.

Ateneo's next assignment will be the NU Bulldogs on September 13 and UST on the 15th.
