Philippine Azkals To Join Nehru Cup 2012 In India and Other Football Camps Around The World!

    By Val Marvin Macanas

The Philippine Azkals has received a rare invitation to join the Nehru Cup which will be held in India. It will run from August 22 up to September 2, 2012.

And it looks like they will join the said Cup as the Philippine Football Federation President Mr. Nonong Araneta said that they might accept the invitation.

This is a big break for Philippine Football because this invitation could mean that we're slowly getting the attention of the top football countries all over the World.

The competition in the Nehru Cup is also really high as Syria, Zambia (the Champions of Africa), Jordan, Cameroon, Thailand, Nigeria, Costa Rica, Malaysia, and Kenya will join the tournament.

This Cup will also serve as a big preparation for the Philippine Azkals as they march towards the AFF Suzuki Cup in the latter part of 2012. The Suzuki Cup will be held in Thailand on November 21, 2012.

The Philippine Azkals will also undergo several training camps as they are set to join the Middle East Camp, Japan Camp, and last but not the least, the US Camp.

They are doing their very best just to make this Year a big year for Philippine Football.
