Another Filipino Pride has been reunited to his beloved Philippines. He is none other than DJ Neil Armstrong himself. He is a world class Pinoy Talent who has worked with the likes of Jay-Z, Beyonce, Rihanna, P. Diddy, and Linkin Park. Apart from that, he is also one of the Biggest Global Brand Ambassadors of Adidas. He came all the way from the United States just to celebrate with us the launch of the Adidas Originals “Leave a Legacy” Campaign. He will party with us on May 12, 2012 (Saturday) at the the Skye Lounge in Bonifacio Global City. It starts 4 P.M. onwards. To those who want to party with him, you can buy tickets at the venue.
Talking about adidas Originals. It is about being Original in the strictest sense of the term. It is about leaving a legacy. Not following the path that's frequently traveled and eventually setting a new trend. That's exactly what DJ Neil did all throughout his career. He took the new music genre called Mashup to a whole new level. He has become famous because of his unique taste and style of doing Mixtapes. He is definitely an epitome of being Original! He is definitely a more unique DJ compared to other DJs all over the world.
Due to his popularity and talent, he was able to work with Hip-Hop artists like De La Soul, The Roots, Company Flow and Biz Markie, to Kanye West, LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes and Wyclef Jean. He was also featured on popular TV shows like MTV.
In DJ Neil's Press-Con yesterday at the Adidas Greenbelt Store, he talked about his Filipino background. He highlighted the values that he learned from his Filipino Family. He doesn't do any vices and he loves dating Filipina and eating Filipino Foods despite being in the USA. He's also a low-profile Celebrity. In fact he doesn't want his family to get pissed off by his stalkers that's why he is not giving away his real name. DJ NEIL Armstrong is just his screen name. He also told us the reason why he chose that screen name. His music is like shooting to the stars and going to other planets via a spaceship because it is very unique and futuristic. He also told in one of his interviews that he likes playing basketball, that he admires Lea Salonga and Arnel Pineda and that he can't live without his Laptop, Turntable, and Mixer.

Adidas Philippines Brand Communications & Sports Marketing Manager Mr. Jason Gervasio also took the opportunity to introduce of the Adidas' Facebook Contest that's in line with the adidas Originals “Leave a Legacy” Campaign. He said that it's about enjoining the youth to express their own unique style of using the new lines of Adidas Originals Shoes and apparels via a Facebook Contest.
