Frankie Lim and Roger Gorayeb Suspended 2 Years While Ola Adeogun and Armon Tagged With 1 Year Suspension After San Beda Brawl

This is a breaking news courtesy of Mr. Chris Soler regarding the San Beda Gym Brawl that happened last year. It seems that the NCAA Policy Board has already made a decision to suspend 4 persons who were involved in the brawl for the NCAA Season 88. Mr. Soler tweeted that:

That is what I call justice. These coaches need to understand that they are placed in a higher standard and that their actions are vital to the growth and knowledge for the athletes they are training. These coaches may be good coaches but they definitely lacked the knowledge of resolving the issue as soon as possible. This was obvious from the interviews conducted after the incident wherein both coaches were both stubbornly standing their grounds and was blaming each other and were talking about who was going to sue who. It was obvious that these so called coaches were only thinking of themselves and not the welfare of the athletes that they were left to be in charged with. I praise the NCAA board for their wise decision and I am hoping that they will not over turn their decision. Keep justice alive. Philippines definitely needs to cut down on the corruption specially in the sports arena.

Coach Roger Gorayeb is also the head coach of the Ateneo Lady Eagles volleyball team. They've just won over La Salle in game one. His coaching work with Ateneo will not be affected since this decision is only forthe NCAA tournament.

Coach Gorayeb is the most bemedalled active volleyball coachin the country. San Sebastian's women team has the most number of NCAA volleyball titles in the league. Ateneo's volleyball program could be working succesfully as the they entered the finals of the UAAP tournament this season.
I think just to make the decision balance, they included Gorayeb in the suspension. The rest of the suspended entities are from the other school.
