Talk 'n Text Beats Ginebra In PBA Season 37 Philippine Cup 2011 Ryan Reyes Played BIG

The Talk and Text Tropang Texters vanquished the Ginebra Gin Kings, 86-71, in the 2nd game of PBA 37th Season today at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Ryan Reyes, the best player of the game with 20 points and 6 assists, made 14 points in the 1st half which resulted from his unstoppable incursions to the basket.

The Tropang Texters were still unsatisfied during the mid 2nd quarter with 31-23 on score board, having an 8-point lead, so Jared Dillinger and Jason Castro fired baskets to increase their lead resulting to a 12-0 run against the Kings. They ended the 1st half with a big 17-point lead, 48-31.

The Kings' "never say die" spirit became eminent during the last 5 mins. of the 3rd quarter as they made a 9-0 run which cut their deficit into 14 points from 23 points and added by back-to-back 3 points from Ronald Tubid and Mike Cortez resulting to a 69-59 score.
