    Powerade Tigers Defeat Talk 'n Text Tropang Texters In PBA Season 37 Philippine Cup Sunday Edition: What Happened?

    The Talk n Text Tropang Texters suffered a big loss as they were defeated by the Powerade Tigers who were trying to climbed up in the standings with a final score of 131-96 for the 1st game of the PBA 37th Season Sunday edition at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

    The 35 point winning margin of the Tigers is the 2nd highest this PBA Season 37 behind the 39 point winning margin of the Barakos that happened several weeks ago.

    The Powerade Tigers just prohibited the Texters to get a lead as they exerted their energy to drown the Texters with a double-digit deficit. The Tigers had a 21-5 run in the first half that further increased their lead.

    The Texters were still hopeful to arise from their 31-point deficit and tried to have a run in the 3rd quarter as Larry Fonacier fired two-three pointers plus the charities of his teammates that cut down their deficit to 16 points.

    But Tigers were still growling and made an 18-7 run before the final buzzer of the 3rd quarter. It literally halted the run of TNT.

    Romel Adducul, who showed his growling performance as he got the best player of the game with almost a double-double performance of 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks. He was resurrected in this game after suffering a hiatus in his career due to health problems.

    Although Texters lost in this game, they are still of the top spot of the Standings while the Tigers need to exert more efforts just to get up there in the Standings.
