    B-Meg Beats Alaska In 2nd Face Off In PBA Season 37 Philippine Cup 2011

    After 58 minutes of game time, the B-Meg Derby Ace Llamados still defended their winning streak against the Alaska Aces with the final score of 92-89 in their 2nd round match today for the elimination round of the PBA Season 37 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

    Rookie player Mark Barroca, the best player of the match garnered a total of 22 points, enabled the Llamados to stop the lead expansion of the Aces in the 1st half.

    LA Tenorio backed-up the Aces in the first half as he was lucky on his 3 point attempts and inside incursions attempts all throughout this game. His efforts stretched their lead during the 1st half.

    In the second half, Mac Baracael started to score for the Aces but still his efforts came short at the end of the regulation as the Llamados were still able to tie the game and eventually force an Overtime courtesy of Barroca.

    In the first overtime, the Aces failed to shoot their free-throw attempts during the overtime that opened up an opportunity to the Llamados to extend their lead in the first overtime but the Aces stormed back to tie the ball game at 80-80 and eventually force a 2nd Overtime.

    Inthe 2nd Overtime, James Yap blasting as he successfully threw crucial baskets that made the Aces struggle in the last minute of the game. The Aces was then forced to give fouls that assured the victory to the Llamados.
