Gee Abanilla DLSU/La Salle's New Head Coach of Their Men's Basketball Team

The De La Salle University (DLSU) Green Archers will have a new coach and his name is Gee Abanilla. He will replace coach Dindo Pumaren who resigned from the coaching post last month.

Abanilla has been part of the coaching staff of DLSU for several years now and it seems that he will be a part of it for the years to come as he accepts the head coaching job.

To those who don't know, coach Gee has been serving La Salle ever since he was in college. He played for the DLSU Men's Basketball Team in the 90's during his college days. He was also a point guard like Dindo Pumaren back then, thus he also knows how to properly handle and lead a team.

And also, add to that the things that he learned from the legendary coach Franz Pumaren when he was still an assistant coach of Franz in La Salle, I'm sure he'll be a great coach for the Green Archers.

The official announcement of his appointment as the new head coach of La Salle will be next week and Boss Danding Cojuangco and all the other University Officials will be at the venue to welcome coach Gee.

This news is only one of the two big developments for DLSU. The other big development was the unofficial inclusion of one the most sought after recruit from the High School class of 2011, Jeron Teng.

And also, there are rumors that Mark Tallo, the shifty point guard from Cebu, is also on his way to playing for DLSU next year.
