Rudy Hatfield Will Not Play For Ginebra in PBA Season 37: Expect Reil Cervantes To Have More Playing Time

After filing a leave of absence in the Governors' Cup because of his pastoral duties abroad, the steadfast Pastor Rudy Hatfield will again sacrifice his basketball career in the PBA as he will once again miss the PBA Season 37 due to undisclosed reasons. And we don't have to question his reason because for sure it again has something to do with his devotion to serve his Church.

I'm sure that the Ginebra faithfuls will have mixed emotions when they hear thus news. Some of them will feel sad and some of them will feel proud and happy because the H-Bomb seems happy with his new duty as a pastor. But for me, the void that will be left by the H-Bomb will be healthy for Ginebra because it will enable the coach staff to give more playing time to Ginebra's other power-forwards such as Enrico Villanueva and their new player Reil "The Real Deal" Cervantes. Hopefully Mr. Cervantes will become a dominant force inside for Ginebra while the H-Bomb is on leave.

If you're not convinced that the H-Bomb will not play for Ginebra in the PBA Season 37 which will start of October 2, here's what Mrs. Patricia Hizon Tweeted:

"@patriciahizon: He won't come back after all... No more bomb to wrestle that ball."

BTW, I just wanna share... PBA.com.ph blocked me from posting a comment bec I was asking why TnT didn't stick to their end of the deal about Williams(supposedly playing for the Gilas team) when he was traded to TnT. As far as news is concerned, the Gilas team was to run only for this year and just got an extension for 2 years by MVP. if that is the case, clearly, they didn't keep their end of the deal by having Williams play for the entire season. Instead, they borrowed the services of Hontiveros and Taulava for the jones cup...
