Ginebra Didn't Sign Rookie Guard James Martinez: James Transfers To PBA D-League's Junior Powerade Team

Mr. JB Baylon of the Powerade Team announced that the Ginebra Gin Kings didn't sign the Former UE Red Warrior, James Vincent Martinez. Thus, he opted to practice and play with the Powerade Tigers' Team in the PBA D-League known as the Junior Powerade Tigers Team.

Mr. Baylon also added that the Ginebra Gin Kings have already released Martinez and that the Gin Kings no longer have the rights for the rookie point guard. Thus, they took the opportunity to get him play for the Junior Powerade Team in the PBA D-League. They are happy to welcome him in the Powerade Tigers Family.

On a side note, Ginebra probably think that they don't need a not so fast point guard who can shoot threes. They probably want a faster point guard who can run fast breaks like Roberts Labagala.

well he is indeed aren't the "fastbreak" type of a guard but he is A SHOOTING GUARD. who will be needing fast breaks without points 'ayt? Labagala is indeed fast and so is the other PG of Gins but are they 100% scoring? most of the time, they fast break, drive and gets ZERO point.
