Alaska Beats Rain or Shine for a Possible Finals Slot But Tim Cone is Not Happy About The Quotient Rule

After Alaska's 95-89 win against Rain or Shine (ROS) last night, instead of being happy, coach Tim Cone spoke his worried heart out regarding the Quotient Rule that's being implemented right now in the PBA Semi-Finals. I don't know why, but probably he's not happy with the cushion that his team built against ROS and also, the said Quotient Rule will nullify their win against the Elasto Painters if either Petron or Ginebra advances to the Semis. Tim Cone honestly said that:

"I`m not a believer in a championship berth being decided by quotient,` said coach Tim. `I`m not happy about this. This is the first time that this has happened in the PBA in all my years of coaching in the league. No matter who advances, losing a championship berth by quotient would be a terrible disappointment. But that`s the hand we`ve been dealt and we have to live with that."

Look at what we have here. He should have complained earlier in the season. Why complain now? Is it because his team is in dire straits and is in the brink of getting eliminated by the top 3 teams in the current season. What a sore loser! He never even complained about the import handicap rule. Lucky for him his import is taller than the others.
