Shakey's V-League Season 8 2nd Conference: 7 Participating Teams and Their Players To be INTRODUCED on July 29

I don't know if you'll be happy or you'll be sad with this breaking news that I got from our idol, Snow Badua. From the original 8 participating teams in the upcoming Shakey's V-League Season 8 2nd Conference which will open on July 31, 2011, Sunday, there will now only be 7 participating teams. That's the final number of teams. In fact, the respective players of those 7 teams will already be introduced to the media on July 29, 2011. Here's what Snow Badua Tweeted:

"SHAKEY'S VLEAGUE to present players from 7 teams to media on JULY 29. OPEN CONFERENCE starts on the 31st."

People are also saying that Meralco was the team that begged off from its participation in the said league. Thus, the number of the Non-School teams that will participate in the league will now be reduced to only 4 teams i.e. Navy, Air Force, Maynilad and Army. There will still be 3 school teams, namely, Ateneo, Perpetual and San Sebastian. The Lady Stags have already confirmed that they will participate in the V-League. They were allowed by the NCAA to play in the V-League Open Conference. All in all we will see 7 teams in the upcoming V-League.
