Novak Djokovic Beats Rafael Nadal in Wimbledon 2011 to Capture his First Title

The tides are changing as the World Number in Tennis captured his first ever Wimbledon Title at the expense of the World Number 1 and the defending champion Rafael Nadal yesterday. The ultimate prize for Djokovic is that he will be the new World Number 1 in Tennis. The declaration will be today, Monday. Congratulations.

The complete scores per set of this match were 6-4, 6-1, 1-6, 6-3. The people can see this victory coming for Djokovic because he was able to beat Nadal in the previous league, Australian Open in a very convincing way. Djokovic carried a very good win-loss record coming into the Finals match against Nadal. He had 43 straight wins.

Novak was just unstoppable in the first, second and fourth sets of this Finals match. He was really looking to get his 3rd Grand Slam Title.

The Finals match was hardly a classic one, but the fans were treated to a Novak Djokovic show down to the last set. Novak was able to force Nadal to commit a long ball on match point that gave him the Wimbledon Title. Novak's Sovereign in Serbia, President Boris Tadic can't help but to put a smile on his face when Novak bowed down in front of him after he beat Nadal.
