Kevin Durant Joins NBA All Stars Derrick Rose, Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant vs. PBA and vs. Smart Gilas on July 23 and 24

Kevin Durant initially begged off from his participation in the Ultimate NBA All Star weekend in the Philippines on July 23 up to July 24 against the PBA Selection Team and against the Smart Gilas Pilipinas Team because of prior business commitments, but I guess God really wants the Filipino basketball fans to be happy on Saturday and on Sunday as he enabled Durant to be here in Manila to play with the other NBA players such as Derrick Rose, Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant and others.

Durant will be replacing DeAndre Jordan. DeAndre had visa problems that hindered him from flying here to Manila.

Coach Chot Reyes himself was the one who confirmed the news through a text message that he sent to InterAksyon.com. He texted that:

“Kevin Durant is coming to replace Deandre Jordan in the Smart Ultimate All Star Weekend."

    Welcome to Manila KD!
