Ken Bono Is Better Than Big Mac Andaya As Shown In Liga Pilipinas

Ken Bono, the 6'5 center of Misamis Oriental Meteors proved to all his haters and supporters that he is the better big man than his teammate Big Mac Andaya. Ken Bono spearheaded his team in beating the defending champions of Liga Pilipinas, the M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala-Cebu NiƱos. The final score was 72-69. This game is for the Mandaue Leg of Liga Pilipinas Conference V. Ken Bono scored 27 points, he grabbed 8 rebounds and he blocked 3 shots in just 24 minutes of action. He was subsequently named as the best player of the ball game.

He's really showing that he can be the next big guy of Ginebra. Ginebra should look into this dominant performance of Bono. Ginebra have 3 choices, Ken Bono, Mac Andaya and Eric Rodriguez. But then again, they should choose wisely over these three vital cogs. They should take into consideration that they need a big man who can defend well and who can sacrifice his body just to get the lose ball. They have enough guys who can score. Jay Jay Helterbrand is back, Caguioa is there, and Intal is on a rise. They need a big man who have the desire to rebound, to block shots and someone who can also shoot when he's scoring is needed.

As you can see, Bono had 27 points and 8 rebounds. He led his team in scoring and in rebounding. That's what you can a hustle player. I am placing my bet on him. Ginebra should get him as their new center. I also believe that if he will push himself in getting those rebounds and putbacks, he will be an important player for Ginebra. Comparing him with his teammate Mac Andaya, Bono is really a better scorer and rebounder based on this stats. Andaya had 0 points, 1 rebound and 1 block. Bono is way better. Look at it.

if the ginebra needs defense I prefer to choose Eric Rodriguez, he's a good rebounder and defender at the post that can sacrifice his body for his team

Of course Bono can score 27 points and grab 8 rebounds in 24 minutes of action. But how can Mark Andaya compile those stats if he only played 3 minutes and 23 seconds? Excuse me, you do not know what you are saying.

Bottom line is, doesn't a performance like that merit a try out with Ginebra? How come Andaya is invited but Bono is being ignored?

IT IS BCOZ OF COACH SIOT THAT IS WHY HE IS BEING IGNORED.....

^^ coach siot? if i remember correctly he benched bono during magnolia days.

it would be unprofessional if a coach will let a grudge against his former player prevent the guy from finding work. if he does not deserve to join the team let it be because of his skills not anything outside of basketball.

besides coach siot is not the head coach of barangay ginebra so why should they bow to what he wants? it should be up to coach jong to keep things fair for everyone and give bono a chance.
