Last month we heard that PBA commissioner, Chito Salud said that Kelly Williams, Jimmy Alapag, Asi Taulava and Don Don Hontiveros will have to attend all the games of their PBA mother teams while they're playing for Smart Gilas or else they might suffer sever penalties. That's quite an impossible thing to do especially if Gilas will go out of the country. That's a very hard thing to do on the part of the loaned players. But it appears that Kelly, Don Don and Jimmy are willing to make the sacrifice for their beloved Philippines. They will be a big help for Smart Gilas. Our friend Snow Badua said in his Twitter account that:
I was also able to read Coach Chot Reyes' Tweet. He and the whole Talk 'n Text organization understands the sacrifices of their players. They are supporting the desire of their players to play for the National flag. This will lessen the burden of Kelly and Jimmy with regard to playing for Smart Gilas and Talk 'n Text at the same time. Coach Chot said that:
It appears that TNT is wholeheartedly giving Kelly and Kimmy to Smart Gilas. It's now up to coach Rajko Toroman on how he will use Kelly and Jimmy in his system. I'm hoping that Smart Gilas can maximize the use of Kelly and Jimmy so that they can qualify in the 2012 London Olympics.
