DLSU Green Archers Beat Ateneo Blue Eagles In FilOil 2011 Premier Cup: La Salle Enters Quarterfinals Against

LA revilla is just a 5'7 point guard but you can see the cuts on his muscles that he's really a hard working player. His hard work has paid off in their game against their arch rival, the Ateneo De Manila Blue Eagles. LA Revilla had 12 points and 6 rebounds. He played as if he wasn't absent for 2 years because of injury and diabetes.

The final score of this game was 66 to 61, in favor of La Salle. La Salle led all through out this game. Ateneo made a comeback in the last 4 minutes of this game but LA Revilla, the former teammate of Nico Salva in San Beda High School made 2 three-pointers that removed the confidence of Ateneo. With this great win, La Salle has entered the quarterfinals or the so called "Big 8" teams in FilOil. They will be in the number 4 spot and they will go against FEU on Monday, June 6, 2011 at exactly 4:00 p.m.. The game will be televised on Studio 23.

The 18 points that came from Nico Salva was put into waste because in the end, they still lost to the Green Archers. Greg Slaughter didn't do much in this game. He wasn't able to beat the solid defenses of Norbert Torres, Fonso Gotladera and Arnold Van Opstal as these three La Salle Big men gave it their all to stop Ateneo's new big man. With Ateneo's lost, they will be tied with San Sebastian and San Beda in the team standings in Group A. They all have 5 wins and 2 losses. On Monday, Ateneo will play against Mapua in the quarterfinals.
