Coach Jong Juichico Satisfied With Curtis Stinson As Ginebra 's Import For PBA Governors Cup 2011

The Ginebra Gin Kings have won 2 of their tune-up games and Curtis Stinson played a major role in those wins. That's why coach Jong Juico, Ginebra's head coach said that he's satisfied with their NBA D-League MVP import. Stinson played for the Iowa Energy in the NBA-D League. He led his Iowa team in winning this year's NBA D-League championship.

    Coach Jong Juichico said:

“He is a complete player. He can create situation for his teammates. He can score if he wants to.”

Stinson is quite good and he's only 28 years old. He's in the peak of his basketball career. He really plays like an NBA veteran. He really has a lot of experience to share with his teammates in Ginebra. Stinson has played for many NBA teams such as the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Clippers.

Stinson is a close friend of Ginebra's former import David Noel. Noel told him that if ever he'll play in the PBA he should play for Ginebra. That was the reason why he turned down Talk 'n Text's invitation and he instead chose to play for the Gin Kings.

Coach Jong added that Rudy Hatfield will not play in the Governor's Cup because he will go to the USA to visit his family and loved ones. Rudy's hustle plays and veteran moves will be missed by the Gin Kings, but they now have Curtis Stinson who also knows how to do those things. He's a veteran player and he knows how to play smart against taller defenders.
