Phil Younghusband and Angel Guirado Not 100 Percent Healthy in FIFA Qualifiers Match Against Sri Lanka Later

The first leg match between the Philippine Azkals and Sri Lanka will happen at the latter's home field but don't worry guys because the match will be televised in the Philippines live at 5:30 p.m. on Studio 23. The match will kick-off at 6:30 p.m..

Sports analysts like Mr. Ronnie Nathanielsz don't see any possible major problems of the Azkals in their match later. He said that the game plan of the Azkals is to attack early and to tire the on-field defenders of Sri Lanka.

But unfortunately, Mr. Chinito Trinidad, relayed a very sad news about the Azkals' two main gunners, namely Angel Guirado, the Fil-spanish Striker and Phil Younghusband, their midfielder. Angel and Phil said to Mr. Chino Trinidad that they are not 100 percent coming into the first leg match against Sri Lanka. Angel said that his right knee is still aching and Phil on the other hand said that his hamstring injury is not yet fully healed and he's still feeling the pain.

The two also revealed to Chino Trino their team mantra coming into this match. Chino shared it to us. He said:

"Huwag isipin na babalik pa sa Pinas. Last game na ito. Pag nanalo, mananalo convincingly, don't think na may second leg pa sa Pinas."

With that mantra, I believe that Phil and Angel will be able to withstand the pains of their respective injuries. Let's just hope that they will be able to forget their injuries temporarily because they are needed by their team in this match. Good luck Azkals! God bless.
