TV 5 To Broadcast PBA Governors Cup 2011 Watch In Channel 13: ABS-CBN Didn't Make A Bid

After almost a decade, the PBA is back on channel 13. TV 5's Aksyon TV will telecast the PBA Governor's Cup 2011 on IBC Channel 13 and they will broadcast in on NBC radio. Mr. Ronnie Nathanielsz was the one who made an announcement using his Twitter account. He said:



The change happened because ABS-CBN decided not to submit a bid and they informed the PBA last Friday about their final decision. TV 5 met the PBA's requirements. TV 5 will air the PBA games for 5 years based on their contract. TV 5 was able to give a franchise fee amounting to 900 million pesos for 5 years.

I don't know if I'll be happy about the PBA's transfer to TV 5. I was okay with Studio 23 because of its High Definition feature. Now I don't know if TV 5 has the same quality of free TV viewing pleasure.
