Talk n Text Beats Ginebra In Game 3 of PBA Finals 2011 Commissioner's Cup

The Talk n Text Tropang Texters beats Ginebra in the all important momentum booster Game 3 in their best of 7 Finals Series held in Puerto Prinsesa Palawan. The Tropang Texters won with the score of 109 to 87. The big guns of Ginebra were shut down by the tighter defense of Talk 'n Text. Jimmy Alapag didn't score much but it was the 6'8 Ranidel De Ocampo who handled the scoring for the Texters. He's named as the best player of the ball game. He has 24 points that's made mostly of three pointers. I think if I'm not mistaken he had 7 three pointers in this game. If he will be able to play for our National Team he will create several mismatches against foreign teams. He must be in that team along with Kelly Williams and Jimmy Alapag. the Texters now have a commanding 3-2 lead in their best of 7 series.

The biggest problems of Ginebra in this game are their turnovers and fouls. They had 17 turnovers in the first half alone while Talk 'n Text only have 7 turnovers. Nate Brumfield collected his 2nd personal foul in the first quarter alone. Hatfield also had foul troubles. Mark Caguioa and Ronald Tubid struggled in this game. But the two speedsters of Ginebra, Labagala and John Wilson continue to impress the crowd with their dazzling plays. John Wilson did a solid job in guarding Paul Harris. Harris' driving plays were not that much because of Wilson. Labagala on the other hand made a great three point play but he also had several turnovers whenever he's being pressured by the guards of the Texters. Game 2 will be in Araneta on Wednesday at 6:30 pm.
