Manny Pacquiao Not Included In Forbes Celebrity Top 100 Year 2011

Despite taking home 20 million dollars after beating Sugar Shane Mosley, Manny, The Pacman, Pacquiao was not included in the Forbes Celebrity 100. The Forbes Magazine yearly releases a list of 100 celebrities which they think as the most powerful celerities of the year. Manny has been a usual staple in the Top 100 list. He has been included in the list for the past 2 years but this year he was snob. Normally he's in the 55th to 57th place just like in year 2010 and and year 2009.

The criteria to be included in the prestigious list are their earnings, media popularity, and social influence power.

The earnings of Manny Pacquiao that were included in the rankings extended only from May 1, 2010 up to May 1, 2011. Clearly, his earnings from the Mosley fight were not included.

In the years 2009 and 2010, his fights against De La Hoya and Clottey coincided within the allowable period and that's why he was able to generate enough money for him to be included in the list. This year his fight against Antonio Margarito was the only fight that was included. He was evaluated to have only earned 20 million dollars which is an inferior amount of money compared to other big celebrities.

Here'a short glimpse of the Forbes Top 10 of the Forbes' 100 list.

2 famous athletes, namely LeBron James and Tiger Woods have entered the Top 10. Hopefully next year Congressman Manny Pacquiao would be included in the Top 100 list. He's fought Sugar Shane Mosley. On November 12, 2011 he's set to fight Juan Manuel Marquez for a round 3 bout and the hopefully next year, before May 1, 2012, he's faced the very elusive Floyd Mayweather Jr..
