IBC Channel 13 To Televise FIBA Asia Champions Cup Philippines 2011 On Free TV: Where to Watch TV 5 or IBC 13?

Basketball fans all over the globe are clamoring to watch the FIBA Asia Champions live on free TV. They just don't know where to watch live. I was also confused about where to actually watch it via free TV and not on cable. I scanned the whole list of free TV channels on my TV and I can't find what channel was airing it. I went to TV5's website and they had a notice on it saying:
MANILA, Philippines – Filipino basketball fanatics – which means practically the whole country – will get the best seats in the house courtesy of the live coverage from the Philsports Arena in Pasig City of the 22nd FIBA Asia Champion’s Cup from 6-10 p.m. on May 28 to June 5 through AKTV, Sports5’s primetime sports block on IBC channel 13.

I wasted so much time looking for it, it's right on channel 13. I just shooked my head in disgust. So it appears that it's not really on TV5 but it's on channel 13. The telecast starts 6:00 p.m. sharp onwards.

The good thing is that I'm not the only one who got confused about it. There are many others who experienced such confusion and they came from all over the world.

There you go. Starting today I will stick with channel 13 all day just satisfy my hunger for Philippine Basketball. I can't get enough of Smart Gilas. They will have a game later against Malaysia at 6 p.m.. Let's support our pride.
