Freddie Roach Is The Head Trainer of US Olympic Boxing Team For 2012 London Olympics

Manny Pacquiao’s trainer, the legendary Freddie Roach, the owner of the Wild Card Gym, was selected and named as the new head trainer of the US Olympic Boxers for the 2012 London Olympics. He was so happy that he gets to train boxing amateurs for the Olympics. He can recall how Manny started his career and on how his life was changed when Manny won several world boxing championships in 8 weight divisions. Roach said:

“Manny Pacquiao changed my life, I will thank him for the rest of my life.”

He will apply the things that he taught to Manny Pacquiao. But the things that will be more important in their training for the 2012 London Olympics is for him to teach Manny’s tireless work ethic, discipline and his religiosity to these boxers because these are the intangibles that separated Manny from the rest of the other professional boxers.
