Mark Tallo Ateneo Blue Eagles New Pointguard For UAAP Season 74

Mark Jayven Tallo is the star pointguard of the Cebu Eastern College men's basketball team. He stands 5'11 and he has terrific ball handling skills like LA Tenorio and he has a high basketball IQ like Chris Tiu. He is just 16 years old. He won several MVP awards. He has played with Greg Slaughter in the Visayas Region. Greg played for the University of Visayas Lancers while Mark played for CEC. Who would have thought that they will be playing with each other in the UAAP particularly for the Ateneo Blue Eagles. They will be a new duo to watch out for in the upcoming UAAP Season 74. Hopefully this coming July 2011 we will already catch a glimpse of them on the court because we know Coach Norman Black, he rarely gives his rookies some playing time. Mark Tallo must show that he is more than a reliable point guard for the Ateneo.

Mark Tallo is a certified chick magnet because of his dedication to basketball and his clear direction in life. Girls love boys who have directions in life. He is a good boy and he looks up to his father. He is obedient and very humble to his friends and teamates. As a proof he said these two things in his Facebook account:
    1. My father is my idol, so I always did everything like him. He used to work two jobs and still come home happy every night. He didn't do drugs or drink, and he wouldn't let anyone smoke in his house. Those are rules I adopted, too.

2.When I step onto the court, I don't have to think about anything. If I have a problem off the court, I find that after I play, my mind is clearer and I can come up with a better solution. It's like therapy. It relaxes me and allows me to solve problems.

He is definitely a great fit for the Blue Eagles. I can't wait to see him play with Kiefer Ravena for Ateneo. Tallo is a perfect pointguard who has the ability to create, pass, and shoot for the Blue Eagles.

Mark Tallo has great basketball dribbling skills and he has a great basketball handle.

How did his first training with the Blue Eagles went out? Watch the video below. He's the one wearing a number 7 training jersey.

I saw this kid when he was practicing at Sacred Heart School. What a brighter future for him. Hope my son can play like him.
