UAAP Women's Volleyball Season 73 Finals Game 1 Replay Videos UST vs DLSU 2011

UST Tigresses lost against the DLSU Lady Archers in the finals. DLSU swept them in 2 games. DLSU regained the UAAP Women's Volleyball crown.

In game 1 the scores were 25-18, 25-20, 19-25, 16-25 and 15-10. Maru Banaticla went down with an injury and this was the main reason why UST lost to DLSU in 4 sets. DLSU's Jacque Alarca was the best player of the game. She had 19 points via 14 shattering attacks and 4 sharp service aces. You can find the replay of game 1 below.

In Game 2 we saw a carbon copy game. DLSU beats UST. They successfully win the UAAP 73 Women's Volleyball crown after dethroning UST in Game 2. The complete set scores were 25-18, 25-17 and 28-26. Cha Cruz was named as the Finals MVP and Jacque Alarca is the tournament MVP. UST's Aiza Maizo didn't win anything. I'd also want to take this opportunity to say goodbye to the graduating seniors, Maizo, Alarca and Cruz. Thank you for sharing to us your invaluable talents. Remember that you changed many people's lives because of your examples. Thank you.
