Philippine Azkals Win Over Mongolia In AFF Qualifier First Game 2011

The Philippine Azkals beat Mongolia in their first meeting for the AFF qualifiers. The score was 2-0. The Azkals dominated the game. They were always on the offensive against the Mongolians. The Azkals attacked from the touch line. The Mongolians didn't have any chance to score. They were too busy on the defensive end. Chief Caligdong, a native from Negros broke the ice. He scored the first goal for the Philippine Azkals. The very handsome Phil Younghusband scored the second goal which sealed the win for the Azkals. This is just the first meeting of these two Asian teams who are trying to qualify to the next AFF Suzuki Cup. The Azkals will fly to Mongolia for their second match against the Mongolians. Mongolia have a twice to beat advantage because they are the 83rd ranked team while Philippines ranked 153rd.
