Philippine Azkals Try-Outs For Indonesia Football League 2011 This Year Is Now Open

The arrival of coach Hans Michael Weiss, who is the new head coach of the Philippine Azkals football team, marks the new beginning in the life of our national football team. The team is also looking for new Filipino members not only from the Philippines but also outside of the country. They usually held their try-outs in the Makati football field and in other provinces. These series of try-out are meant to help the Azkals in their preparation for the upcoming Indonesian Football league.

Some of the players who will be trying out for the team are Filipino foreign players. To name a few we have Patrick Herget, William Guerridon, Patrick Hinrichsen, Oliver Potschke, Jason Abot Sabio, Oliver Potschke and Jerry Lucena.

There are no players who came from famous schools here in the Philippines that has shown their talent to the team. Hopefully they can also show what they are made of because I believe we also have home grown talents here in the Philippines. They too should be given a chance. That is called as the equal protection clause.

The first game of the Azkals will be against Mongolia and the game will be here in the Philippines, specifically in Panaad Stadium in Bacolod this coming February 2011.
