Virginia Tech athletes used to wear black and yellow jerseys. But things have changed in the Orange Bowl for the school. They have infused orange in their jerseys. The Virginia Tech men's football team has decided to wear an orange pumpkin helmet. It seems that they have taken the league's title too seriously.
The exact colorway of the helmets is vicious orange. The team hopes to be vicious as they can be in order to win this year's orange bowl.
It was planned by the team and their managers two weeks ago. This was suppose be a surprise because they didn't have a presscon for this big jersey change.
When they take field today against the Cardinals, the fans will surely have a good laugh for them. Hopefully this change could make them perform better.
They have a bitter experience last year, in the first two weeks of the orange bowl. But the season changes, the jerseys also changes. Hopefully things will be more colorful for the Virginia Tech Hokies.
