De La Salle University Lady Archers Beats Ateneo De Manila University Lady Eagles In UAAP Season 73 Volleyball Action

The DLSU Lady Archers easily beat the Ateneo Lady Eagles in their first round match-up yesterday in the UAAP Season 73 women's volleyball held at the San Juan Arena. They beat Ateneo 3 sets to one.

Although the Ateneans felt bad about the loss, they are also glad that Ateneo was able to snatch a single set from La Salle considering that they are stronger and taller than them.

DLSU's rising star Michelle Gumabao had her coming out party. She was the main source of offense in the first two sets of the match. She was always ready to hit the volleyball hard. She was always on top of the ball for the quick attack. What's ironic about her is her angelic face and her amazon like volleyball skills. She is really one of a kind. So guys I suggest that you take a closer look of this chick. But be careful not to make her mad because you guys might end up having welts on your cheeks.

To those who haven't seen her yet, this is how she looks like:

Ateneo's go-to-gal, Gretchen Ho, struggled in the game but the lone bright spot for Ateneo was Fille Saint Merced Cainglet. But she wasn't able to carry her team in this game.

DLSU continues to be on top of the standings together with UST, with 4 wins and 0 losses. While Ateneo continues to struggle. They have 1 win and 3 sorry losses. They must find their groove at once otherwise they will say goodbye to the Final 4.

Here are the complete set scores:

    25-17, 25-16, 23-25 and 25-13.
