Ateneo Blue Eagles Wins PCCl 2010 Championship Twice In A Row: The Best College Team In The Philippines

Nico Salva played like Kobe Bryant as he and the Ateneo De Manila Blue Eagles bags their 2nd straight PCCL 2010 Championship crown. The Blue Eagles beats the Adamson Soaring Falcons with the score of 73-67. The Ateneo receives almost 900,000 pesos worth of athletic gift prizes for the school and for the players as well. Adamson receives almost 800,000 worth of the same prizes as a consolation prize.

The Ateneo has just won a three-peat in the UAAP Season 73 and now they have just added a feather on their hat as they bag again their 2nd straight PCCL Title. They are inarguably the best college team in the whole nation.

Kirk Long and his partner, Nico Salva played great for Ateneo. Kirk can't miss his shots even hard three point shots while Nico Salva showed his range as he sank all his perimeter shots including a fade away jumper that resembles Kobe's style. Kirk had 25 points including a 5 out of 6 three point shooting. 2 of his 5 three pointers came from the professional three point area.

Nicolas Salva was named as the PCCL 2010 MVP. The mythical 5 of the PCCL were Junemar Fajardo of University of Cebu, Kirk Long also of Ateneo, Lester Alvarez and Alex Nuyles of Adamson.

Norman Black said that Kirk's shooting allowed us to beat Adamson win the finals game.
