Preliminary games before PCCL Finals Game 2 at PhilSports Arena in Pasig:
At 2 o'clock p.m. — ADMU Blue Eaglets versus San Beda Red Cubs (Juniors Exhibition Game)
And finally, At 4 o'clock p.m. — Adamson Falcons vs Ateneo Blue Eagles for the Game 2 of the Finals in PCCL 2010.
Adamson will strive to maintain its winning ways against Ateneo as they try to win the PCCL 2010 championship, today at Philsports Arena formerly known as Ultra located in Pasig City.
In game one, it was Alex Nuyles, the high-flying jock of Adamson who burned the Ateneo Blue Eagles, They had a come from behind win, down from 11 points and up to an 80-78 win. If ever they win in Game 2, they will hold the title of being the best collegiate team in the whole country.
Coach Leo Austria is worrying about the Ateneo 6th man known as their crowd. He feels that they will engulf them every time they play against Ateneo. Though he's happy, he knows that they will not back down. He is anticipating Ateneo's better performance in game 2.
Last year when Ateneo captured the 2010 PCCL Finals, they went up against FEU. The same thing happened, they also lose in game but they came back strong in games 2 and 3 to win the crown. If Adamson wants to win the crown, they must do it today otherwise there might be a dejavu.
Alex Nuyles will surely be a mark man in game 2 that's why Jan Colina, Lester Alvarez, Janus Lozada and former bench warmer Rodney Brondial should step up.
Jan Colina is capable of having a great game. He can have 16 points. Rodney Brondial, a stocky player who loves banging bodies with other players is also capable of having a 2-point shy double-double performance. Last time he scored 8 points and he grabbed 12 rebounds. He made a big difference for his team.
Adamson limited Ateneo's inside points as they only let Ateneo shoot outside shots. And Ateneo didn't have their go-to-guy Ryan Buenafe. If Ryan will be able to play today, Adamson is in bad hands.
