Air 21 Beats Powerade Tigers In PBA Season 36 2010 Game

The Air 21 came from behind to beat the struggling Powerade Tigers. Gary David who had 28 points did all what he could to help his Powerade win but Wesley Gonzales, Ronjay Buenafe and Rabeh Al-Hussaini refused to hand them their fourth win. Air 21 wins with the score of 102-95.

Ronjay Buenafe had a monster night. He scored 28 points. It was a season high for him. He went hot from beyond the arc. He never gave up despite them being down for the most parts of the game up to the third quarter. He was the best player of the game.

Air 21's coach Yeng Guiao said, "I thought we had already lost the game. Powerade relaxed a little bit towards the end of the third and we were able to get a run going. It was an ugly game for us, pero nanalo kaya tatanggapin ko na. It’s not really the way to win a game. May kasamang buwenas. We weren’t really executing the way we wanted."

Coach Yeng further said, "For a young team like ours, to be 3-3, I think we can still get better, but we’re pretty much where we thought we would be at this stage."

Ronjay Buenafe's 4 point play started a 12-0 run for the Air 21. Nonoy Baclao also had the biggest two points in his PBA career, it gave them the 93-87 lead with 5 minutes remaining in the game.
