Adidas together with Dwight Howard and the Warner Bros. and DC Comics have finally launched their new Adidas TS Beast Commander Superman Fortress of Solitude.
The concept came up when DC Comics realized that Dwight Howard plays like Superman. The Superman's Logo will be etched in the new shoes of Dwight Howard.
The sole of the shoes features the Torsion System, perfect for outdoor basketball.
It also has upper leather , rainbow-like colors that are only visible in specific lighting. Just like the Adidas TS Heat Check.
The patented Adidas three stripes will appear to be color blue when it absorbs light. The same with its laces. They will also be color blue once they absorb light. The reason behind the color blue dominance on the shoes is because of Superman, from DC Comics.
Its like this, when you see Superman, you'll see blue and he will pass thru a rainbow then to you. Isn't that cool?
It is really cool because it also has a mesh up technology wherein the shoes has technologically designed air holes that lets your feet feel cool and dry while in the heat of battle.
Of course there is Superman's logo on the shoes' tongue and on the back ankle supports which has abc plastic for optimum durability and shoe handle. These shoes are inspired by Superman to be used by Superman.
The shoes fit all positions, from the pointguard up to the center position.
It will be out in the Philippines on November 30, 2010 at Titan Barbershop in Forbeswood, Fort Bonifacio. 650 pairs will only be out for sale all over the world.
These limited edition shoes costs 6,295.00. pesos.
