Marcus Douthit Smart Gilas Filipino Citizenship Progress

Marcus Douthit who is the biggest RP-Smart Gilas national basketball developmental team’s reinforcement, wants to obtain a Filipino Citizenship in order for him to become a full pledge Smart Gilas Player. He's a former NCAA Division 1 in the USA player. He played for the Providence Friars.

A majority vote of 212-9 on the House of Representatives’ third and final reading of House Bill 2307 enabled the 2004 draft pick of the Los Angeles Lakers to move closer to getting Philippine citizenship.
