It's been a rough start for the defending champions in their pre season games before the 2010-2011 NBA Season starts. First they were put to shame by their loss to one the last season's worst teams, the Minnesota Timberwolves despite Kobe and Pau's presence. Many fans of the Lakers are saying that the Lakers are just testing the waters. They are not showing their real championship form. But how will they react if the Lakers would still be beaten not by an NBA team but rather a Euro League Team. The Euro League champs, the Barcelona Team being led by the savy and very creative pointguard Ricky Rubio dominated the Lakers. I saw the faces of the Lakers' players. They were are disgusted. They can't believe what happened to them in their Euro Trip. They were supposed to dominate and not to be dominated.
I will show you first their loss to the Timberwolves and then I will show their penultimate loss to the Barcelona Team.
The Minnesota Timberwolves are the darkhorse of this upcoming NBA Season. With the addition of Michael Beasely and Martell Webster and with the rejuvenated Kevin Love who is fresh from a Gold Medal finish in Turkey, they are indeed a team to fear this year. Being true to their avowed promise of a better record this year, they just beat the World Champions, the Lakers despite Kobe and Pau's Presence. They won the game by 111-92.

The Barcelona Team are the Euro League Champions. Because of their few turn overs and their efficient ball movement and passing they were able to beat the Lakers despite Pau Gasol's 25 points. It appears that its not a fluke win for the Barcelona Team.
