Rajon Rondo Comes Back To Los Angeles

After playing for the University of Kentucky Rajon Rondo wanted to play in the NBA. His favorite team has been the Los Angeles Lakers. When he entered the 2006 NBA Draft in June 28, 2006, he was hoping that the Lakers would draft him as their 21st pick in the first round. Destiny would speak in that point in Rondo's life wherein it was the rival of the Lakers which is the Celtics who would pick him. The Lakers opted to pick Jordan Farmar out of UCLA over Rajon Rondo. It broke his heart and he sweared that he will make the Lakers pay for it.

Nonetheless, it was the summer of 2010 wherein Rajon Rondo has finally decided to go back to the city where he wanted to play for. It was Los Angeles.

It was 2 am in the morning when Rajon Rondo was still half asleep when his manager called him saying "we'll have a 3 day tour in Los Angeles for the promotion of your Nike Hyper fuse basketball shoes and also it will give you a chance to organize summer basketball clinics for the youth in LA." Rondo immediately nodded at the invitation.

The basketball clinic was held in Lower Merion High School where Kobe Bryant played during his high school years. It was a fitting scene to see Rondo back in his favortite city, Los Angeles, California.
