The San Beda Red Cubs was led by Baser Amer. Animo San Beda! They really have a player to watch. Hopefully Baser Amer will go all the way in San Beda, from high school then to college. He is the hottest baller in the high school ranks. He led the San Beda Red Cubs past the Ateneo Blue Eaglets in the Filoil Flying V pre-season basketball league. They won the championship game against the very powerful line-up of the Ateneo Blue Eaglets and it was primarily because of Baser "The Basher" Amer!
