The Los Angeles Lakers Beat The Suns in Game 5

In this very crucial game 5 of the 2010 Western Conference Finals, the Los Angeles Lakers beat the scorching Phoenix Suns led by their two time MVP and future hall of famer Steve Nash. He scored 32 points and 13 assist but it wasn't enough as the lakers get a commanding 3-2 series lead.

In my opinion he single-handedly brought back the struggling Suns closer to the Los Angeles Lakers as they faced a huge deficit for the whole third quarter. They were down by almost 18 points but Steve Nash made some crucial baskets to get the game more interesting.

It came down to a game-tying three pointer from Jason Richardson but it left 3 secs. from the clock and the los angeles lakers made the most out of it. They gave the ball to Kobe Bryant and shot it from the three but the suns covered him very well and it affected his shot. But fortunately for the los angeles lakers Ron Artest after a booboo of rushing to throw a brickshot from the three point line with the time on their side, but he immediately made up for the mistake that he did. He even made the biggest shot of his life wherein he followed the short shot of Kobe and with a second remaining he made a jump hook shot and it went in.

The lakers won! Ron Artest broke the heart of the suns. They won via 103-101. Game 6 will be in Phoenix.
